I had a very disappointing experience with the food quality. I ordered a combo meal, and the fried chicken was partially soggy and extremely oily. It definitely did not meet the usual KFC standards, and I regretted placing the order.

On the positive side, the service was good, and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the poor food quality overshadowed the otherwise pleasant experience.

Recently visited KFC Athlone great service. The man working there Alexander Veselov was so nice to me and helped me a lot with my order. Thank you KFC Athlone for great service.

My Elderly Father visited the store and was unable to use the self service machine & was refused help at the counter where otwo staff were chatting amongst themselves and were reluctant of general work.. in there workplace? completely rude to him and refused other service only self service .. obviously untrained in customer service police.. Very rude & upsetting/scary to hear as a daughter , is this what the older generation is up against. He also had to then wait 40 minutes for his food in what seemed like an act of “proving a point”. Would not recommend this place & was once a regular customer.. staff here (those two females) need customer service policy training and also maybe a recap of manners… tried to bring this to head office and was told i needed proof of receipts which my dad didn’t have . that was their main concern !!

I ordered a new menu for the fact that I received such half-empty glasses of drinks, to my protesting employee Pedro replied that this is how the machine regulates the pouring of drinks, and only a few sips were enough from an average Pepsi. Naturally, I do not recommend KFC in Athlone. I will write a complaint on your official website why the service is so bad

The order placed through your platform was for 8 Hot Wings, yet only 6 were delivered. This means the goods supplied were incomplete and not what I paid for. Your decision to refuse a refund or any corrective action is unacceptable.

Under Irish consumer law, including the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980 and the Consumer Rights Act 2022, consumers are entitled to receive the goods they paid for. Where goods are missing or incorrectly supplied, the trader is required to provide an appropriate remedy such as a refund or replacement.

If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will proceed with escalating the issue. This will include submitting a formal complaint to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) and initiating a chargeback through my bank for goods paid for but not supplied.

In addition, I intend to share my experience publicly through reviews and with others I interact with professionally. I work in retail and speak with a large number of customers and people daily, and I will be open about this experience and the outcome of this matter.

I have been a Just Eat customer for over 10 years, which makes this response particularly disappointing. I would strongly encourage you to review this matter again and resolve it appropriately.
